Dancing
Notes

Written
by John Earle
an
experienced teacher and
enthusiastic dancer.
The
notes
are written
to help everyone, from complete beginners to experienced dancers and
teachers. They contain both detailed instructions on all parts
of every figure and also a guide to the structure of each figure for
those who need only a quick reminder.
All the dances have
been carefully researched and are based on the author's personal experience
of dancing in Ireland. Where different versions of a dance are popularly
found, the one danced by the people of the area from which the dance
originates is the version described in these notes wherever possible.
Notes are currently
